Covenant Health Non-Registered Polysomnographer - Sleep Lab in Lubbock, Texas

Description

Ability to provide Sleep Studies to Adults, Pediatric, and Neonatal patients while working with minimal supervision to perform and score standard and complex Sleep Studies. Serve as a member of the Sleep Center directly or in directly affect change within the department and encourage competent care, develop individualized intervention, and enhance polysomnography skills. Able to communicate effectively with physicians, patients, family members, and other disciplines.

Required Qualifications:

  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.

  • Complete a minimum of 18 months of clinical experience where the duties performed are primarily polysomnography OR

  • Complete a minimum of 1 year of clinical experience where the duties performed are primarily polysomnography, and the applicant holds a credential in an allied health field accepted by the BRPT (e.g., nursing, respiratory care, electroneurodiagnostics). Applicants must submit a copy of a certificate or official correspondence from the credentialing agency with their application.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Successful completion of an accredited course in polysomnographic testing.

  • Provider Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association upon hire.

  • PALS and NRP Training upon hire.

  • 1 year experience in hospital setting or an allied health field.
